Meditation Pavilion

This project explores the design of a small meditation pavilion inspired by the experimental architectural language of the Serpentine Pavilions. The concept focuses on creating a calm and contemplative space through geometric timber construction and filtered natural light. The pavilion is designed as a compact polygonal structure built with a timber frame system and faceted roof geometry. A central skylight element introduces natural light into the interior, creating a soft atmospheric environment suitable for meditation and quiet reflection. The project investigates the relationship between structure, enclosure, and light, where the exposed timber framework becomes both the structural system and the architectural expression of the building. The pavilion sits within a landscape setting, reinforcing the connection between interior space and nature while maintaining a minimal and contemporary architectural language.
