Museum Extension – Conceptual Architectural Project

This project is a conceptual architectural proposal exploring the extension of an existing brick building with a contemporary museum volume. The design contrasts the traditional masonry structure with a dynamic folded geometry, creating a dialogue between historic context and contemporary architecture. The new museum volume is defined by angular planes and faceted surfaces, forming a sculptural architectural language. Large glazed openings allow natural light to penetrate the interior galleries while framing views towards the surrounding urban environment. The project also investigates urban integration, public entrance sequences, and the relationship between the museum and the existing courtyard building. The visualizations present different perspectives of the proposal, including the street view, public plaza, and the relationship between the old and new architectural forms.
