Serpentine Meditation Pavilion

This project explores the design of a contemporary meditation pavilion inspired by the experimental architectural language of the Serpentine Pavilion series. The concept focuses on creating a calm and immersive environment where architecture, light, and structure work together to support mindfulness and quiet reflection. The pavilion is conceived as a compact polygonal timber structure composed of a faceted roof system and exposed structural frame. At the center of the building, a geometric skylight introduces filtered natural light into the interior space, generating a dynamic pattern of light and shadow throughout the day. Inside the pavilion, the meditation space is organized symmetrically to create a sense of balance and spatial clarity. Natural timber materials, soft lighting, and minimal interior elements reinforce the atmosphere of calmness and concentration.
